Disadvantage: Spring action airsoft sniper rifles are “single shot,” meaning they must be cocked before each shot. Many organized airsoft enthusiasts use automatic electric guns, and your single shot sniper rifle may put you at a disadvantage in some situations.

Disadvantage: Using a spring action airsoft sniper rifle requires infinitely more patience and skill than a gas powered or automatic electic airsoft gun.

These may seem like minor differences, however, if you ask a dozen airsoft enthusiasts the same questions about the same weapons, you’ll get a dozen different answers. And, likely, your answer may be different still. That’s why we recommend that you rely on your own judgement, opinion, and interest when choosing any airsoft gun!
